Vasundhara Mantri, professional jewellery designer, is one of the very few professional bench jewelers in Kolkata (India) who qualifies to create jewellery by her own hands. She has undergone training at The Gemological Institute of America (GIA), New York.
Vasundhara showcased the collection ‘Werifesteria’ at the first ever accessory show at Amazon India Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 2016. She had also showcased her unique collection’ Blurred Lines’ at the Lakme India Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2015 , ‘Yagyaseni: Warrior from Within’ at Lakme India Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2015 & ‘Reverence’ at Lakme India Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2017. She has participated in Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week, Spring – Summer 2008, Autumn – Winter 2008 and Autumn – Winter 2009. Lakme India Fashion Week, Winter – Festive, 2012.
She has designed jewellery for the eminent Indian Actress Priyanka Chopra, for the film Don (2006) as well as for renowned Indian Director Madhur Bhandarkar’s film Fashion (2008). Her jewelry has graced the likes of the Indian Film Industry A-listers such as Sonam Kapoor, Karishma Kapoor, Sonakshi Sinha, Shilpa Shetty and more.
Each piece is exclusive, handcrafted and has a unique story and a soul. Vasundhara’s assortment is an ode to the very energy that began this story, which allowed each piece to be. The very energy that will continue to spark joy, happiness, confidence and peace. The collections are inspired by various art forms- they are made up of semi-specious stones, artificial kundan and mixed metal. Rhodium plated in different finishes are used to complete the pieces.
